DIY Braids- Day 5

Fictional characters have been inspiring tons of hairstyle trends, including an old friend, Heidi, including this post’s DIY Braid.
Glam Heidi Braids- This is a great choice for people with thick hair.  You should begin by giving your hair a slightly roughed up texture, then parting it down the center from your hairline, all the way to the nape of your neck.  Braid each side, leaving a 1 inch section in the front (of each side).  Begin the braids just above the nape of your neck and secure them with a clear elastic.  Next, wrap each braid across the crown, placing the 2nd behind the 1st and pin each on the opposite ear.  Use large pins to secure lower parts of the braids, and to add volume.  Next, use your fingers to pull the braids back and loosen the braids.  If the front pieces need styling, blow dry them with a round brush to keep them off your face, and you’re ready to go from day to night with just a wardrobe change!
