Fade those Dark Spots

Now that Summer is fading, you can tackle those dark spots that mar your complexion.  Many products designed to fade dark marks shouldn’t be used in Summer because they can increase skin’s sensitivity to the sun.

That means that right now is a great time to begin your dark mark fading routine.  From Allure.com, here are their tips for making it as successful as possible.
•    Lots of Lighteners- regardless of which lightener you choose, they contain a lot of botanicals and vitamins that are great for your skin and because there are so many formulations, this is one beauty element you almost can’t have too much of!  You should apply at morning and at night, making sure that you’re a.m. formula has antioxidants, and your p.m. one has retinoid or alpha hydroxy acid.
•    Calm your skin down- if your skin flares up with acne or rashes, it is creating more pigment, so you need to treat it with a moisturizer and creamy cleanser to get it under control
•    Patience is a virtue- like most skin care treatments, dark spot fading won’t happen all at once, so don’t get discouraged or give up!
