You might be under the impression that the only way to get dramatic eyelashes is by piling on tons of black mascara, but thanks to glamour.com and Victoria’s Secret model Lindsay Ellingson, we have a new way to share with you.

Instead of trying to both plump and lengthen those lashes, choose a mascara that focuses only on lengthening.  This will make them look long and give them definition.  Another key is to go light on the mascara and liner on the lower lash line, and instead, utilize a metallic eye shadow.

Combining these two techniques will give you an innocent and flirty version of dramatic, instead of the dark, heavy and overtly sexy look that lots of mascara, liner and shadow can create.
