The Benefits of Face Oils, Part 1

Some of you ladies, especially those of you who suffer from oily skin may have been very wary of trying face oils.  Many of their claims sound too good to be true, and you might be worried that they will make your oil prone skin break out.

But, you would be wrong.  While it’s true that certain oils are more beneficial than others, many have positive effects and benefits for your skin.  Over the next few posts, we’ll be sharing what these oils can do for your face, compliments of allure.com.

Yangu- Yangu oil is great to pair with an anti-aging regimen.  Many powerful anti-aging products can irritate your skin, causing you to use them less, if at all.  Applying a product that contains Yangu oil after your anti-aging products can help soothe your skin and let your anti-aging items do their job.

Borage Seed- the oil from Borage seeds is also very soothing, and great for helping improve your skin’s tolerance to your tough anti-aging products.

Passion Fruit- we’ve all heard about the damage free radicals can do to our skin, and passion fruit oil is great at helping provide a defense against Free Radicals.

African Marula- African Marula Oil is another great way to protect your skin from Free Radicals.  Because they are a constant concern, you should apply a product with Marula or Passion Fruit oil every morning before your foundation or sunscreen, just give it a few minutes to dry first.

Next time, we’ll share the power of a few more oils, including a Super Oil!
